Ottawa, ON – Wednesday night was the first game of the Bogart Cup series for the Navan Grads and the Pembroke Lumber Kings. The Navan Grads hosted the Pembroke Lumber Kings in game one, where the Grads won 5-1.

The first period saw Navan’s Matthew Roy and Briggs Jowett finding the net, while Pembroke’s Sutton Murray managed to score one for his team. Navan continued their offensive prowess in the second period with Cole Jenken extending their lead. The final period saw Navan’s Devon Savignac and Nico Paone adding to the tally, sealing their victory. Despite Pembroke’s efforts, goaltender Kevin Jones made an impressive 46 saves, while Navan’s Jaeden Nelson stopped 31 shots
